Who's Who

Loren Bass (David O. Selznick) appeared at MBT this season in Sherlock Holmes and previously in Art. Midwest credits: The Price, A Life in the Theatre, Amadeus, Moonglow, Dance Like No One’s Watching, Sorrows and Rejoicings, and Don't Dress for Dinner. NY to LA: Stanley Kowalski A Streetcar Named Desire, Treves Elephant Man, George Of Mice and Men and numerous Shakespearean including Brutus, Petruchio, Lysander, Mercutio, Jaques, Richard III, Malvolio, Macbeth and Iago (Best Actor, L. A. Weekly.)

Wayne David Parker (Victor Fleming) is appearing in his 20th production at Meadow Brook. He was last seen as Roat in Wait until Dark. Wayne first appeared in She Stoops to Conquer in 1978 and was in A Christmas Carol for seven years in the '80's with all of his now adult children. Wayne has also been seen at the Attic Theatre and is a resident artist at the Purple Rose Theatre. Film credits include: Escanaba in the Moonlight.

Emily Sutton-Smith (Miss Poppenghul) is an actress, arts administrator and is one of the founders and the Development Director of the Williamston Theatre www.williamstontheatre.org. A New York City native, her recent local onstage appearances include The Baker's Wife, Frankenstein, Additional Particulars and Intimate Apparel. She is a member of the Actors' Equity Association. Emily has studied acting at the Atlantic Theatre Company in NYC and holds a BA from the University of Delaware.

Tom Whalen (Ben Hecht) was last seen on the Meadow Brook stage as Friar Lawrence in Romeo and Juliet. He has performed at The Purple Rose Theatre, the JET, Gem Theatre, Performance Network and the Attic Theatre. Credits include Tom in The Glass Menagerie, Fluellen in Henry V and Feste in Twelfth Night. Tom has also performed at the Little Theatre in southern Illinois and two seasons on the Minnesota Centennial Showboat.

UNION AFFILIATIONS
This theatre operates under an agreement between the Leauge of Resident Theatres and Actor’s Equity Association, the Union of Professional Actors and Stage Managers in the United States. The theatre operates under the agreement with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Local 38. Meadow Brook Theatre is a Constituent of Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for the nonprofit professional theatre.
